SUMMARY:DGG DGGG Kongress 2026
DESCRIPTION:Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen\, \nkaum zu glauben\, aber es ist schon wieder an der Zeit\, die Vorankündigung zu unserem gemeinsamen Kongress im September 2026 in Frankfurt auszusenden. Die Themen des zurückliegenden Kongresses im September 2024 in Kassel hallen noch nach: Künstliche Intelligenz\, Stellenwert der Variable „Alter“ und Geroscience und assistierter Alterssuizid waren dabei. \nUnd sie sind weiterhin höchst aktuell. Neue Entwicklungen etwa in den Bereichen der biogerontologischen Alternsforschung („Is Aging a disease?“)\, der medikamentösen Erfolge bei bestimmten Demenzformen\, der Sturzprävention\, der Forschung zu den Kosten von Ageism und des nun offensichtlichen Trends in Richtung Altersarmut\, wie im 9. Altersbericht der Bundesregierung (Januar 2025) beschrieben\, müssen uns beschäftigen. Die DGGG und DGG setzt sich bereits intensiv mit diesen Themen auseinander\, nicht zuletzt in ihren sehr engagierten Arbeitsgruppen und Fachausschüssen – und mit dem Kongress in 2026 in Zusammenarbeit mit den Gesellschaften aus Österreich\, der Schweiz und Luxemburg als wichtigem Zielpunkt. \nAber auch die vielen anderen Themen\, an denen Sie forschen bzw. die neuesten Entwicklungen in Ihren Berufsfeldern (wie Soziale Arbeit\, Pflege\, Ergotherapie oder Neuropsychologie)\, werden in Frankfurt ein Sprachrohr finden und diskutiert werden. Die Geriatrie legt in Weimar im Herbst 2025 bereits damit los und in einem Kongress\, der die Interdisziplinarität bereits deutlich hervorhebt.\nGerade jetzt ist eine tiefe und offene Diskussion wichtig wie nie: Fundamental neue Sichtweisen auf Altern zeichnen sich immer mehr ab – und verlangen unsere Positionierung als wissenschaftliche Gerontologie-Gesellschaften. Dies soll auch in unserem Motto „Zukunft Alter(n): Perspektiven im Umbruch“ zum Ausdruck kommen. \nSo laden wir Sie heute sehr herzlich nach Frankfurt ein! Lassen Sie uns dort die Interdisziplinarität der Gerontologie akademisch hochleben\, ohne die Leistungen unserer Subdisziplinen für ein stetig tieferes Verständnis von Alter und Altern zu vernachlässigen. DESCRIPTION:LKH-Univ.Klinikum Graz\nSeminarzentrum\, 2. Stock\, Raum 225\nAuenbruggerplatz 19\, 8036 Graz \nKrankheitsbedingte Mangelernährung ist eng mit Veränderungen der Körperzusammensetzung und einem Verlust funktioneller Reserven verknüpft. Besonders der Abbau von Muskelmasse und Muskelkraft stellt einen entscheidenden prognostischen Faktor dar: Er beeinflusst Komplikationsraten\, Rekonvaleszenz\, Therapietoleranz sowie Mortalität. Gleichzeitig zeigen aktuelle Daten\, dass diese Veränderungen in vielen klinischen Settings weiterhin unzureichend erfasst werden. \nDieser AKE-Dialog zum Thema „Muskelgesundheit im Kontext krankheitsbedingter Mangelernährung“ greift diese Entwicklung gezielt auf. Im Workshop-Teil stehen praktische Methoden zur Beurteilung des Ernährungs- und Funktionsstatus im Mittelpunkt – von funktionellen Tests und anthropometrischen Verfahren bis hin zu Bioimpedanzanalysen\, Sonographie und indirekte Kalorimetrie. Aufbauend darauf beleuchten die Vorträge zentrale pathophysiologische Zusammenhänge\, darunter die Rolle der Darm-Leber-Muskel-Achse sowie interprofessionelle Therapieansätze\, die Ernährung\, Medizin und Bewegung verbinden.
