DESCRIPTION:Liebe Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer\, \nTrotz der wachsenden Bedeutung der Altersmedizin ist die Geriatrie strukturell bisher nur unzu\nreichend verankert. Dies verbessert sich nun durch den Ausbau der Akutgeriatrie/Remobilisation\n(AG/R) in Niederösterreich\, Wien und anderen Bundesländern. Dieser kann nur gelingen\, wenn\nausreichend qualifizierte Ärztinnen und Ärzte durch verbesserte Ausbildung und Berufsperspek\ntiven in der Geriatrie verfügbar sind.
